Who is it for?
This course is designed for members of staff in the health and social care sector that require an understanding of their role in protecting individuals and others who may lack capacity. The course aims to give confidence in working in the framework of the Mental Capacity Act. This award also aims to give an awareness of their roles and responsibilities in relation to the Mental Capacity Act and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
