Who is it for?
This award has been specifically designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves assisting and moving people using a hoist. The course will aim to ensure the knowledge and skills required to hoist people safely whilst ensuring that the risk of personal harm is reduced and that health and dignity are retained. Ideal for health & social care setting that use ceiling hoists, portable hoists and standing hoists.
